At MASC’s 2024 Annual Meeting, Stephanie Clougherty was elected to the Board of Directors Executive Committee and will serve the year as Secretary-Treasurer, having previously serve as Chair of Division VII (Cape and Islands. She also serves as Vice-Chair of the Legislative Committee and as Chair of the Investments Committee, Chair of the Mission/Value Statement Committee, and as member of the Budget Committee, Policy Committee, Resolution Committee and the Strategic Planning Committees for MASC. She is also a member of the DBIE Steering Committee in conjunction with Division X – Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for MASC.
Stephanie is serving her 8th year on the Carver School Committee and her 4th year as its Chair. She has also served on the Athletic Policy, Negotiating, Policy, Student Advisory, and Superintendent Evaluation Subcommittees during her tenure on the Carver School Committee. She started her service to Carver Public Schools as a member of the Carver Elementary School Handbook Committee, PTO, and School Council in 2011. She currently serves as the Vice-President of the Carver Athletic Boosters for Carver Middle High School and as President of the Carver Allied Arts Boosters for the Carver Public School District.
Stephanie has volunteered as a Carver Girl Scout Leader, Co-Leader, Encampment Director, Certified Archery and Canoe Instructor, and Girl Scout Cookie Coordinator for Carver Girl Scouts in addition to serving as the Secretary/Treasurer, Service Unit Coordinator and Social Media Coordinator for the Carver Girl Scout Service Unit over the last 13 years.
She is a graduate of Suffolk University with a BSBA in Accounting with Management and Psychology Minors. She has over 30 years of accounting and management experience and is currently employed as a Senior Accountant by A.D. Makepeace Company in Wareham. She has previously worked in municipal finance for the Town of Carver in addition to having served on the Carver Cultural Council, Council On Aging Board of Directors, and the Carver Finance Committee.
