MASC.ORG WEBSITE PRIVACY STATEMENT

Overview: The Massachusetts Association of School Committees respects and takes very seriously the privacy of the information made available to the Association by users of our website and other electronic assets. The following information describes ways that information related to the use of these assets that are managed by the Association and which help us to improve website functionality and Association services by assisting in identification of issues and opportunities for improvement of online resources and other member services. User information may include aggregated click through information and experience reports, contact and billing information provided by the user to MASC, email information and other details that users provide while interacting with our electronic assets.
Communications: When contact information is provided by users of our services, or in some cases by representatives of member school districts or other organizations, MASC may occasionally send communications including important member updates, news or event information, legislative alerts and other information we believe may be relevant to members. If you do not wish to receive communications from us, please contact our office by mail or email using the contact information at www.masc.org/contact or as listed below. Our goal is to provide our members with only the information they wish to receive and we will make every attempt to cease undesired communications upon being notified.

Electronic cookies: When users connect to website servers, this website (and most other websites you visit) retrieve basic non-personally identifying technical information, through the use of browser cookies, which small bits of data sent to the browser by the server.
